Common questions
Almost certainly not. The white screen is a PHP error, not data loss. Your database and files are intact — the page just isn't rendering.
Sometimes — if you disable plugins via FTP and the site comes back, you've found the culprit. But diagnosing which plugin and why takes a bit more work. We handle that.
No. We work on a copy or via file manager — we never delete data as part of a WSOD fix.
The main prevention: test updates on a staging environment first, which is what we do for all care plan clients.
