Two plugins have a PHP conflict. One works alone but breaks with the other. Common when both are updated in the same window.
PHP memory limit
WordPress's default 40MB memory limit isn't enough for heavily-loaded sites. Hitting the limit causes a silent blank page.
Theme PHP error
A theme update introducing a PHP syntax error or incompatibility with your PHP version.
Incompatible PHP version
Hosting upgraded server PHP — plugin or theme code isn't compatible with the new version.

Is my content gone?

Almost certainly not. The white screen is a PHP error, not data loss. Your database and files are intact — the page just isn't rendering.
Can I fix it myself?

Sometimes — if you disable plugins via FTP and the site comes back, you've found the culprit. But diagnosing which plugin and why takes a bit more work. We handle that.
Will this break my content?

No. We work on a copy or via file manager — we never delete data as part of a WSOD fix.
