Questions

Straight answers.

By default, WordPress uses PHP's mail() function to send email. This routes through your web server, which almost certainly has no SPF or DKIM record โ€” so receiving servers treat it as unverified and send it to spam. We fix this properly.
We typically use Postmark or Amazon SES for transactional email โ€” both have excellent deliverability and detailed logging. We'll recommend the right option for your volume and budget.
No. We're configuring how WordPress sends transactional email, which is separate from your inbox (Office 365, Google Workspace, etc.). Your existing email accounts are unaffected.
Yes โ€” order confirmations, shipping notifications, and all WooCommerce transactional email will route through the SMTP service once configured.
DMARC is a policy that tells receiving servers what to do with email that fails SPF or DKIM checks โ€” and sends you reports on failures. It prevents someone else sending email that appears to come from your domain (spoofing). You need it.
